We were thrilled this year to be able to offer a Christmas Hamper to anyone who came to the Foodbank through December. Clients were able to sign up for a hamper filled with Christmas goodies that were then delivered to their homes in the 2 weeks before Christmas.
The hampers were packed by the Worthing Football Club under 16’s team, who did a fantastic job packing them in record time and members of Redeemer Church delivered the parcels to people all over Worthing and a beyond. We were also gifted toys from Tesco West Durrington as part of their Christmas Toy Collection Scheme which we were able to pass on to families.
The recipients of the hampers were so grateful and we received lovely messages of thanks for all those involved in making this happen. The hampers made a huge difference to people this Christmas, to those who received the hampers as well as those who helped to make it possible.
